Susana  was born in Uruguay, Montevideo and later studied in Torres Garcia’s workshops with Osbaldo Reyno y ceramics wit Colliel. She expanded her horizons studying art in Jerusalem, allowing her to travel throughout the world. In the 80’s she moved to London where she was involved in music, film and fashion. She opened four shops for young designers such as John Galliano and was instrumental in the revival of Vivienne Westwood.

Ten years ago she moved to France, continuing her exploration of color and vision in her workshop in Brittany. Her inspiration comes first from her own experiences, and is the result of a blend of different cultures. She draws creative energy from the world of music which helps inform her mixed-media paintings. She is, amongst others, the promoter of the manifesto “we international”.  She is an international Uruguayan artist. Susana Vida has exhibited in more than 50 exhibitions throughout the world.
